Tollywood has made some big budget films in 2011 but many of them became duds. Movies which are released with high expectations could not taste even a moderate success mainly because of bad script. The improved technical values and more films from star heroes are the boosters for this year.

Parama Veera Chakra :
The combo of Dasari Narayana Rao and Nandamuri Balakrishna could be considered as the most disastorous film of the year. After a film like 'Simha', Nandamuri couldn't expect this kind of film from their favorite star hero. The expectations went high when Dasari Narayana Rao claimed that Balakrishna would bag a Natinal Award for his superb acting skills. Even the fans were deeply hurt with the material of this film. Poor Screenplay, Illogical Direction and very average story brought both reputational as well as financial loss.

Shakti :
Another shocker of the year. Ashwini Dutt had to suffer a huge financial loss despite a strong star cast like Jr NTR, Ileyana etc. Rather than making a good film the intentions are clear that a film like Magadheera to be made is clearly seen. The characterization of NTR as a warrior got a poor feedback. Even the costumes, story, screenplay and almost each aspect of the film became the reason for the failure of this.

Dhada :
Naga Chaitanya's Dhada was released admist a lot of hype as it was released after his consecutive hits. The golden hand of Kajal also brought some hopes to the distributors. But, the film became the biggest disaster in Naga Chaitanya's career. His attempts to became a mass hero didn't work out.

Theenmaar :
It is a surprise to the entire Telugu film industry. The film got positive reviews, had almost everything to score a big hit with none other power hero Pawan Kalyan. Few practical aspects were not liked by the audience though the media also wished to see this film to be succesful. This film, a remake of Love Aaj Kal flopped miserably.

Kajal Agarwal Happy Again

Kajal who ruled the Tollywood and Kollywood till 2010 with one hit after another suddeny went dull in the year 2011. Though 2011 gave her a super hit in from her debutant film Singham, the controversial statements she made in an interview regarding the south film industry created clouds on her South Indian film career. There were no other offers at the same time from Bollywood. Her Telugu disasters 'Veera' and 'Dhada' added salt to the wound.

Now, she is back with her latest venture 'Business Man' under the direction Puri Jagannath. She is looking cute and beautiful in the latest posters released. Looks like she is trying to erase her negative marks she scored from 'Dhada' for her looks.

While Samantha and Thamanna are busy with already signed projects, producers are looking for a star heroine to act opposite the upcoming young generation. If Kajal is not adamant in accepting the offers, there are great chances of having a boost up to her career again soon.

Shahrukh's dream of getting this year's best first day collections through "Don 2" didn't come true. This film could not even cross his earlier movie "Ra-One". "Body Guard" collected 21.5 crores and became this year's biggest opening day record, while "Ra-One" is in the second place with 18.5 crores.

Thamanna Kolaveri Dance

The mania of Kolaveri is still hot and is ruling the chart busters even after many weeks. This Tamil song is now popular world wide and is getting millions of hits on YouTube. No limit at all for the number of remixes being made.

After a flop from his much hyped movie 'Ra-One, the Bollywood King Khan Sharukh is back with 'Don 2'. To give a message that he will be back with King size hit, the caption was kept as 'The King is Back'. This stylish thriller is the sequel of his previous hit movie 'Don'.

Some of the cast from 'Don' are retained in this movie to make it feel more like a sequel.

Don 2 Story :

The story begin in Malaysia with the return of Don (Sharukh) to surrender himself to Roma (Priyanka Chopra) and her boss (Om Puri), the Interpol Officers. But, his main idea is to meet his enemy Varadhan (Boman Irani) in the same jail. They sketch a plan together to steal currency plates from DCB - a famous German Bank.

Both Vardhan and Don escapes from the jain had heads straight to Germany with the help of hacker Ali (Kunal). Roman and her team starts chasing for the escaped Don and Vardhan. With a lot of skill and ideas, Don sketches a plan and sets a stage to execute. Is Don successful in his plan? Rest of the story should be watched on silver screen.

Puri : When will you show six packs to your fans?
Mahesh : I tried for it in the past. But, I saw some weird changes in my face that time and afraid of loosing the glamor. I will definitely do it in future with more precautions.

While Kajal and Samantha are giving a hard competition, Thamanna has scored more points in the year 2011. Though Samantha Prabhu is the female lead of the biggest hit of the year 'Dhookudu', her role is not of a prominent one. The collections could have been the same with any other heroine. 


Its a forgettable year for Kajal. With disasters like 'Veera' and 'Dhada', she had to slide down from the top position. The feedback for her looks in the movie 'Dhada' is surely a wakeup call for her. 


Thamanna, however got a successful year. With almost a heroine oriented movie '100% Love', she could turn the big heads at her side. Though 'Badrinath' and 'Oosaravelli' are commercial disappointments, they became plus points to her as individual - thanks to her glamour quotient in Badrinath and acting skills in Oosaravelli. 


So, the Tollywood Heroine of the Year 2011 is Thamanna Bhatia.

If anyone asks the question 'Who is the Tollywood Hero of the Year?', even a die hard hatter also says its 'Mahesh Babu'. When Pokiri was a big hit five years back, most of the other fans said its a fluke. When he has repeated the magic with his only release of the year 'Dhookudu', every one agreed his box office stamina. 


Though there are no hits before this film for five years, Mahesh Babu stands in the top position as none of the other heroes could produce such a big hit. Though the movie was 'officially confirmed' as the biggest hit of the entire Telugu industry history, it was later revealed by even the producers that it sits on the 2nd place. However, the Telugu film Industry got a refreshing hit after a long time when the audience are fed with the dubbing films. 


Nagarjuna has 2 films released in this year - Gaganam and Raajanna. Though Gaganam got accolades from all quarters it failed to turn out to be a commercial hit. Raajanna was released yesterday. The first day talk looks positive, but the commercial range can be decided only a week later.

Nagarjuna who is known for making movies with different stories is back with yet another such refreshing script of Tollywood. With experiments like Siva, Geethanajali, Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Gaganam he has got a unique reputation that no other star hero has got in the Telugu industry. He needs to be appreciated for accepting a story in which the hero (a star hero) would appear only after 50 mins of the beginning of the film and producing it with a good budget. It takes real guts and passion for cinema to produce such 'non commerical' ventures.

Rajanna Story :

This is the story of a freedom fighter Rajanna (Nagarjuna) and his daughter Mallamma(Ainee). The entire narration goes in Telangana in the olden days. Rajanna who was a freedom fighter had to fight with the Nizam Nawaabs against their cruelty in their area. He and his wife Lacchuvamma (Sneha) will be killed by the Nawaabs for the fight they are doing for Gareebs (poor people). 

Later, an old man brings up Mallamma and keeps it a secret that she is the daughter of none other than Rajanna. While the attacks on the poor people becoming more and other people were helpless, Mallamma takes an initiative and walks hundreds of miles to meet the then Prime Minister JawaharLal Nehru.

What happens next? Will Mallamma know that she is daughter of none other their leader Rajanna? Will Rajanna come back or really dead? The rest forms the story and has to seen on the silver screen.

Performances :

• Nagarjuna should be appreciated for taking up the story and producing it with good values. He did a good job in acting too. He could carry the emotions well at many situations.

• Ainee is the highlight of the entire film. Its not over edification to call her a blessing to Telugu film industry. Amazing talent and fantastic expressions. She could make even the elders cry and struck to their seats with emotion.

• Swetha Menon did a very good job too. She carried the cruelity in her face through out the film and maintained the acting uniformly.

• M M Keeravani music is the first hero of this film. It is highly unimaginable to see the film without such fantastic background music. He gave a 'meaningful' background score and elevated the emotions in an excellent way.

• Vijayendra Prasad's story is one of the best in Telugu film industry, at least in the recent past. He could carry the direction department also well though there are some jerks at some places. Those kind of small mistakes are acceptable in such a good story and film.

RajaMouli's Reaction on Panjaa Promotion

It is common sense and basic knowledge that everyone including director and producer is an actor in the film industry - be it tollywood, bollywood or even hollywood. Most of them needs to act in front of the camera for securing a good promotion for their films and thus help for the success of the project. The topic is regarding a promotional video of director Krish of 'Vedam' fame with some weird expressions in communication. The video was leaked by some media people in an unedited form and was rated as a cheap stunt by the producers.

Reacting to this, Rajamouli sent a tweet strongly - ‘Cheapness of producers? How can you say that? If anything is there it is the cheapness of the people who leaked the video’, he said in the micro blogging website twitter.

Agreed. Nothing is fair in love, war and film industry. But, it has definitely disturbed the Pawan Kalyan's fans.

RamCharan in Bollywood Soon

The famous Singer and Music Director S P Balasubramanyam is all set to handle a megaphone very soon. He is currently acting in 'Gopuram' movie.

'I am very happy and satisfied with my 40 years career as a singer, music director and actor. I have this dream of directing a movie from some time and I want to make it happen as soon as possible', he told the media in an event happened recently.

'I am always open to learn more and more about music and singing. I will quit singing in case I feel the audience are not able to bare my voice', he added in a lighter note

There are some hints that the movie could be based on music and its importance. While his son SP Charan is a producer in Tamil Nadu, it is interesting to see who will produce the film.

Panjaa Hit or Flop?

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa was released last week all over the world in 1800 theaters. This was a pure stylish action entertainer. Pawan Kalyan gave some energetic performance and looked real stylish. Fans are very happy watching him doing energetic dance movements in 'Paaparayudu' song after a long time.


Coming to the story part, Panjaa is a straight forward revenge drama mixed with some comedy in the second half. But Brahmanandam's role could not meet the pre-release expectations. First half of the movie is good though it is a little slow. Second half gives a dragged feeling.


Adavi Sesh of 'Karma' fame scored very good points. Panjaa could be a great turning point in his career while it did nothing great for Pawan or Director Vishnu Vardhan or even the heroines. It would be interesting to see whether the heroines will get any other opportunities or not. Nikisha Patel, the Pawan Puli's heroine is yet to be seen in her next Telugu movie.


Overall, the movie gets an Average talk in the first weak - combining positive points for Pawan's getup plus Performance, Adavi Sesh and negative positives for Story and dragged screenplay.

Surya and RaviTeja's Film

The top stars of Tollywood and Kollywood are joining hands for a multi starrer film. This has raised eye brows of many. Filmmaker Prabhu Venkat confirmed the news.

Venkat Prabhu confirmed his next film with Ravi Teja and Surya. 'The title of the film is yet to be decided. This is a bilingual film to be made in Telugu and Tamil at the same time. Surya and Ravi Teja both gave their confirmation. The script also needs to be confirmed. Story discussions are still on the cards', he told the media.

'No other cast is finalized. Yuvan Shankar Raja could be the music director. The film carries lots of fun and will be a new genre for the fans', he added.

Last Chillax : While Telugu film industry started eradicating the dubbing films, Tamil heros started a new tactic.

Venkatesh agrees with Pawan Kalyan

In a recent conversation about tax changes for dubbing films, Pawan Kalyan said that 'it is our incapability that we are not able to make different movies. We cannot cry on them. We need to improve our quality of making and stories'. Now, Venkatesh also agrees with those words. People don't watch every dubbing movie. When the content of the movie is good, it should be encouraged - either straight or dubbing. Only a few dubbing movies ran successfully in the recent times. I don't see any great threat from them.


If we need to improve our market, we should look for a way to penetrate into their market. Eradicating their market is not a good idea. 


While the producers are expressing concerns about the dubbing movies, the exhibitors version completely different. Telugu stars are making only one film per year. So, there are hardly 10 to 15 movies getting released per year. What should we do in the remaining days? We have to run the small budget films or the next option is dubbing movies. It is very sad to see lot of theaters getting closed because of poor running. If the dubbing movies are also not available, then the situation of exhibitors/theater owners would be worse. 

RamCharan's Marriage Secret

The time is approaching for the Mega Power Star Ramcharn Tej to enter the other young tollywood heros league of married men. While Allu Arjun and Jr NTR got married recently, it is time for this most eligible bachelor of telugu cinema - thanks to his father Chiranjeevi's stardom and political backup. 


Ramcharan has revealed that Upaasana was his best friend from 8 years and after that they had dated for an year. 'I only designed the engagement ring for my love girl to make the engagement a very special one for her', he told the media.

Q. No function was done for audio release? 
Ans. Yes, we wanted to do it a new way. If we do an audio release function, we have to reveal the story. It looks very routine. 


Q. There are some gossips that your role length is less in this film? 
Ans. My character depends on the story. It starts from few mins before the interval and will be there till the end. It is not necessary to have introduction scene on the hero. The story was taken to many big heroes earlier. Though the story is very good, they rejected it as the hero introduction will be after nearly 1 hour 10 minutes from the beginning of the film. I don't have any objections about it. To me story is the first hero of any film. 


Q. A child is being projected more in the promotion? 
Ans. Yes. I don't want to bluff for marketing purpose. The girl child who is 11 year old daughter of Raajanna plays a very prominent role in the film. The entire story revolves around her. 


Q. Your reaction on Naga Chaithanya's 'Bezawada' film? 
Ans. I didn't react earlier. I won't react now. 

What about Business Man Quality?

As promised, Puri Jagannath has completed the 'Business Man' film shooting in a 'record' 74 days. Though 74 days might not be a record for a movie completition but it really can be considered a record as the hero is none other than Mahesh Babu. Mahesh who is known for his tortoise kind of work culture also cooperated to finish it off in very less number of days.

Now the talks are rounding about the quality of this. A Super Star's film is supposed to contain high quality content. It should not be another 'Dhonga Muta'. It is Puri Jagannath's nature to complete any movie in a very quick time - be it Pokiri or Andhrawala. Lets see on which side this movie falls under.

Murugadoss to Direct Ram Charan Tej

Murugadoss who is known for his smashing hits in Tamil and Hindi is going to direct Ram Charan's movie if the inside sources are to be believed. Though there is no confirmed news from either the director or the hero, there is a strong buzz that the project might turn out soon.

Ram Charan, the mega power star of Tollywood has expressed his interest to act in the direction of this Ghazini director. It is worth remembering that Murugadoss had directed 'Stalin' movie with his father Chiranjeevi and also the original story provider for 'Tagore'.

Mahesh Babu’s Businessman Audio Release Date Confirmed

Mahesh Babu, the Tollywood Super Star's latest film 'The Business Man - Guns Don't Need Agreements' has wrapped up its shooting in a record 74 days and is all set to release for the coming Pongal. Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath, who made a challenge that they will release the movie for Sankranthi at any cost are standing on their words.

Businessman audio will be launched on 22nd December through Aditya Music. Thaman, the music director of Dhookudu has scored the tunes and the audio will be launched simultaneously in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil versions.

While Kajal Agarwal is playing the lead role with Maheshbabu for the first time, Shyam K Naidu is providing the cinematography. Stunts by Vijay and Editing by S R Sekhar.

Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde, Nasser, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Brahmaji, Bharath Reddy, Bandla Ganesh, Raja Murad are playing other prominent roles in the film.

Panjaa Title Song Placement Changed

Panjaa title song which placed at the end card is not like by many of the Pawan Kalyan fans at all. He did some energetic dances in the song but was pushed till the last minute of the film. After receiving too much criticism from many fans, the makers of Panjaa now decided to place it in the first half itself.

The changes will be made from tomorrow. Some theaters will play the song twice, once in the actual placement (at the end) and the replacement (first half).

Pawan Kalyan's fans are happy to see him as a complete actor in full action, while others are not happy with entertainment dose in the movie. The box office collections to be revealed soon.

"I don't want to burn my hands", Simran told media in a recent conversation.

Simran, who ruled the Tollywood and Kollywood in the late 90's is seen as playing matured roles in TV serials. She replied in the above manner to a question from media on whether she wants to Direct or Produce a movie like some other top heroines do.

Story :
Jai Dev (Pawan Kalyan) becomes an YES man of the dreaded Don Bhagwan (Jackie Shroff) after getting a favor from him in the past. He is power and follower of Bhagwan (Balu Movie flashback?). Kulakarni (Athul Kulakarni) is the rival for Bhagawan. Jai has a friend Jhanvi (Anjali Lavanya) who is a club dancer. Incidentally Bhagwan's son Munna (Adivi Sesh) is a psycho (hyper sensitive) and kills people without calculation. He wants Jhanvi and starts harassing her. Bhagwan takes a word from Jai that he should not harm his son rather should protect him like how he is for the father.

Jai also runs a nursery and the life takes a turn when Sandhya (Sara Jane Dias) enters into his life. Jhanvi loves Jai but Jai loves Sandhya. Chotu (Ali) is the subordinate for Jai at the nursery. Meanwhile Munna kills Jhanvi and the story takes a turn when Jai kills him despite a promise to his father and his god father Bhagawan.

Bhagwan wants to take a revenge on Jai and plans to kill him. Jai doesn't like to fight with him due to the favor he received from the later in the past. He goes to Palasa, Sandhya's village and tries to live a peaceful life there.

Will Bhagwan take a revenge on Jai? What is the role of Kulakarni, the other don in this revenge? Rest of the story should be watched only on the screen.

Perfomrnaces :

Pawan Kalyan has to under play his character in this movie and did a great justification for his role. You cannot see the regular power of Pawan Kalyan in this film.

Adavi Sesh requires a special mentioning here. This Telugu NRI (acted in 'Karma') did a fantastic job in the negative role. His performance in the pre-interval scenes are worth mentioning here.

Sara Jane Dias and Anjali Lavanya did their roles in their limits. They may not be connected to Telugu audience easily. Anjali Lavanya has a short role in this and did a good job in item song 'vey ra.'

Jackie Shroff, Thanikella Bharani, Jhansi are regular.

Brahmanandam and Ali roles hardly bring laughs in the theater. The much hyped character in 'Paaparayudu' is not etched as per the expectations though the comedy is very good in the song.

Analysis :
Vishnuvardhan, the director tried to make a stylish action entertainer and is succesful in making stylish action but scores negatives in entertainment part. Editing in few scenes is awesome, especially in the pre-interval sequences and a scenes that shows the dominance of don Kulakarni over Bhagawan. But the expected entertainment is surely missing. Vishnuvardhan should have concentrated more on the script than just merely stylish action.

Looks like Vishnu Vardhan could not estimate the kind of script that suits Pawan Kalyan.

Final Line :
Watch it for Pawan Kalyan in a new role of no Power. If you love stylish films you will love this. Mass audience may not get connected to this. This may not create box office records but can an above average run.

Pawan Kalyan in Financial Troubles

Pawan Kalyan who has the habit of acting in only one movie per year has increased his pace in the recent times. Every one including his fans are surprised at this. There are some talks that he is in some financial crisis and hence has to accept movies one after the other. Surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan has confirmed the same.

'I took 2 years to complete the Puli film and faced some financial problems during that time. Hence, I am accepting movies and ensuring that they are getting released at the earliest', Pawan said in a recent interview with the media.

'Theenmaar, Panjaa and Gabbar Singh are accepted in that way only. I have to continue this speed for one more year', he added.

Though he did not reveal the actual reason behind his financial problems it is heard that he acted in couple of movies earlier with very less or no remuneration to support the producers in putting budget for the scripts he liked very much. It is his decency for not revealing any names or complaining on any one else for his financial troubles.


His fans are happy in one way to get a chance to watch his movies more in a single year.

Panjaa First Half Report Review

Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa is released today (9-12-2011) across the globe in 1800 theaters. As per the report we got till now (till the interval scene) the first half was made in a very stylish way. Unlike in his previous movies, it looks like Pawan Kalyan is involved much in this movie screen play. There are no extras in the first half and went very naturally. Pawan looks completely different in this movie when compared to his earlier ones.

Chiranjeevi's 150th Film Talks Starts Again

Chiranjeevi, the Tollywood Mega Star is on cloud nine for his increased political popularity after his involvement as 'King Maker' in the recent 'Non Confidence' trail on Congress government by the opposition parties. Now, here is one more good news for the mega fans.

Though there were lot of talks about Chiranjeevi's re-entry into movies, it is heard that he is planning to start the same at the earliest. Even the PRP MLAs and his well wishers suggested the same. This is the best time for Chiranjeevi to act in movie and complete his 150 mark as the Non Confidence trail is already completed and no political urgency are seen in the near future. It is very difficult to make a movie in 2013 as the preparations, agenda etc has to be started for 2014 elections. It is high time to start and release his 150th movie in 2012 end or in the early months of 2013.

There are a lot of discussions about the director starting with Shankar, Murugadoss, V V Vinayak, Rajamouli etc. However, it is heard that the story and dialogue writers are confirmed as Paruchuri Brothers. The Independence fighter story the Paruchuri Brothers narrated long back impressed Chiranjeevi and the later gave a positive signal.

Even Paruchuri Brothers confirmed that they had another round of discussions with Chiranjeevi about his 150th film script yesterday (Wednesday, 8th December 2011).

Vijay NOT in Kamal and Rajini Getups

There was a strong buzz going on that the Tamil star hero Vijay appreas in the getups of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in his latest flick 'Nanban'. However, sources close to this film crew said that nothing of such sort is there in the film. It  is heard that even Shankar laughed at these gossips.

It was heard that Shankar wanted to show his thankfulness to the Tamil film industry by bringing in couple of prestigious characters played by Rajini and Kamal in his movies - Enthiran (Robo) and Indian respectively.

'Nanban' is the remake of the Hindi blockbuster '3 Idiots' starred by Ameer Khan, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor. The South Indian mega director is holding the mega phone for this movie while Vijay, Srikanth, Jiva, Ileana, S J Surya and Sathyaraj are in the lead roles for this Tamil version.

The movie is slated for Pongal release while the music director Harris Jayaraj is providing the tunes.

Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa is all set for a grand release on December 9th all over the globe. Panjaa is coming after Pawan Kalyan's Theenmar which got a positive feedback in the opening week but failed to gain the momentum. Fans are eager to see how he has done mafia role in this movie.

He is doing the role of 'Jai Dev' (name could be different in Don getup). Panjaa is a slick and stylish action entertainer with mafia backdrop set in Kolkata. He will be see in a never seen before look and the posters with a beard has already created sensation. Though his get up got some mixed responses in the beginning, it is getting great applause now. Chiranjeevi who is on sky high after becoming a 'King Maker' by extending support of his 17 MLAs to ensure that the Congress government doesn't loose it power has few words about his brother Pawan Kalyan's latest movie Panjaa.

'I am yet to watch the movie. But I heard that the movie was made very well and the technical standards are up to the mark. Also heard that the movie is stylish one. I wish Pawan Kalyan and the entire film unit a great success', Chiranjeevi said.

Prabhas to Launch Venkatesh's Bodyguard Audio

Venkatesh's latest flick Bodyguard audio is planned to be launched on his birthday, i.e. 13th December. Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Mega Director V V Vinayak are the chief guests for this function. The audion release function happens in Shilpa Kala Vedika in the presence of fans and other celebrities.

Bodyguard is the remake of Malayalam super hit movie with the same title which was already remade in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. While the Tamil and Kannada versions did an average run, the Hindi version became the Bollywood's all time second highest grosser.

Trisha and Saloni (Maryada Ramanna fame) are doing the female lead roles. Gopichand Malineni (Ravi Teja's Don Seenu fame) is the director while Thaman is providing the music. The movie is slated for a release on 12th January 2012.

'I am very confident about the success of the film. It is a tailor made character for Venkatesh', Producer Bellamkonda Suresh told the media.

Is Sneha playing Rajinkanth's Sister?

From the day ‘Kochadaiyaan’ movie was announced there are lot of news running in the film circles about the story, lead roles etc. Now there is a strong buzz that Sneha is playing a key role in the movie. Inside sources say that the character is of Rajinikanth's Sister and is a meaty one. The Sister character has got a lot of importance in the movie and hence are looking for an established heroine for the same.

‘Kochadaiyaan’ is a 3D animated film and is prequel to Rajini's dream project 'Raana'. Looks like Victory Venkatesh is on a roller coaster. He is very busy with lot of movies in hand. Naga Chaithanya who entered as the Telugu film industry as the son of Nagarjuna and Grand Son of living legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao tasted one more flop recently in the name of 'Bezawada'. Srikanth who acted as Lakshmana, the brother of Lord Rama (Balakrishna in the film) in Sri Rama Rajyam is eager to act as Lord Krishna. 'I am very much happy with the role I did in Sri Rama Rajyam. It gave me a great satisfaction both personally and professionally. I would want to see myself in the role of Lord Krishna', he added.

Srikanth is currently doing a tile role in the movie King Sri Krishna Devaraya. He has already played Lord Sri Rama role in the movie 'Devullu' and Arjuna role in 'Ghatothkachudu'.

Brahmanandam is the Second Hero in Panjaa?

Well, the title might look awkward, but Brahmanandam has really contributed like a second hero in many hit movies. Starting with Money, Dhee, Ready and to the latest Dhookudu. According to the inside sources, Brahmanandam did almost a full lenght role in Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa and it is hillarious.
Although Panjaa is a revenge based story of a Don, director Vishnuvardhan wanted to ensure that it runs on the entertainment platform. He chose Brahmanandam for this and his character name 'Paaparayudu' already became popular - thanks to the song from music director Yuvan Shankar. The song created more buzz because of the comedy lines it carries and added voices of Pawan Kalyan and Brahmanandam.

It is interesting to see the Producers and Director are doing publicity for Brahmanandam's role as much as they are doing for Pawan Kalyan. The combo scenes of Pawan Kalyan and Brahmanandam worked very well in Jalsa and the fans are eager to see how it works here.

It is true that the movie got amazing openings in South mainly because of the cameo Rajini did in the movie (although most of the fans say that it is just graphics and not the real Rajnikanth).

Media is very eager to publish the Aishwarya Rai Daughter's photos but there is no go ahead from the Bacchhans. Despite frantic efforts they are not ready to reveal the baby photos. The shooting of the movie is almost completed except two songs and few scenes. Kalyani Malik, the cousin of M. M. Keeravani is the music director and it is heard that he has gives some fine tunes for this Nandamuri hero.

A super hit in the name of Dhookudu and the repeat competition of Pokiri with Puri Jagannath have already kept the movie expectations at sky high. Adding to that the latest news of Mahesh singing a song in this movie is making even the others more interesting.

With the craze of 'Kolaveri Dee' song in the internet, Mahesh fans are eager to see if this song also can create some buzz. Though Thaman, the music director of this movie (he is the music director of Dhookudu movie too) says they did not get this idea after Kolaveri song, many people are ready to compare this one with the Tamil block buster.
